About Us Laura Madeira is the founder of ACS, Inc., a Plano, Texas-based company that specializes in on-site and Internet-assisted accounting software implementation, set-up, training and troubleshooting. She has over 20 years of experience helping companies maintain accurate and timely accounting and financial information through one-on-one consulting, group classes, and web-based training. Her certifications include: QuickBooks Advanced Certified Professional Advisor QuickBooks Point of Sale Certified Professional Advisor Member 2003-2005 Accountant and Advisor Customer Council for Intuit, Inc. Sage Certified Consultant for Master Builder She is an Intuit Solution Provider; Member of Intuit Accounting Professional's Trainer/Writer Network; guest speaker for Intuit at many national trade shows; accounting professional invited to work with the QuickBooks Product Development Team in addition to being a member of Intuit's Customer Advisory Council from 2003 - 2005. Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University.
