About Us
Laura
Madeira is the founder of ACS, Inc., a Plano, Texas-based company
that specializes in on-site and Internet-assisted accounting software
implementation, set-up, training and troubleshooting. She has over 20
years of experience helping companies maintain accurate and timely accounting
and financial information through one-on-one consulting, group classes,
and web-based training.
Laura and her expertise with QuickBooks, other Intuit, Inc. software products, and Sage Master Builder have been featured nationally in an Advisor Spotlight and widely-distributed promotional literature. Her certifications include:
- QuickBooks Certified Professional Advisor
- QuickBooks Point of Sale Certified Professional Advisor
- Sage Master Builder Authorized Advisor
She is a member of Intuit’s Accountant and Customer Advisory Council for 2004-2005, and is a National Trainer for Intuit's Accountant Training Network. In the recent past, she’s been a member of Intuit’s Customer Advisory Council in 2003 and a guest speaker in the 2002 and 2003 QuickBooks Developer Network.
Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University.
